Welcome to the C.R.O.P.S.

Farm Share Program

What is the Farm Share Program?

As a shareholder in the Farm Share Program, you sign up for a series of produce shares filled with 8-10 varieties of fruits, veggies, and herbs grown by South Jersey farmers, available for pickup in Atlantic City.

The Farm Share Program exists to make fresh, local food available in Atlantic City, support our local farm partners, and connect our communities through a shared appreciation for beautiful food.

The New Roots app uses a sliding scale to determine each person’s cost per share based on your household size and income. Every shareholder receives the same share regardless of payment type or financial resources because everyone deserves nutritious food!

How much do I pay on the sliding scale?

Income levels are self-assessed once you sign up the New Roots app.

Each shareholder pays based on their available income and household size, which means a community can pool resources to pay local farmers a fair price for their produce!

Everyone receives the same share regardless of what they pay.
